About Laura Bush

Laura Bush has nearly 30 years of experience in the construction management industry, currently serving as Director of Operations – NYC Metro Region for Consigli Construction Co., Inc. In her leadership role, she focuses on growth and development in the region, delivering consistency in day-to-day operations and developing people. Bush’s specialized expertise in project planning and quality assurance, and operational excellence has contributed to her success in leading construction projects for many high-profile luxury residential and hospitality projects throughout the city. Featured on the 2023 City & State New York Construction Power 100 list and as a 2023 Construction Champion by Construction Dive, Bush currently oversees more than $1.6 billion in projects for Consigli across the New York City Metro Region.

Bush has long advocated for female and minority growth and development in the construction industry. She has served on the board of the Women Builder's Council in New York City, is a past chapter president of the Greater New York and Long Island Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), and a founding co-chair of the Ambassador Council for Non-Traditional Employment for Women (NEW), an organization formed to support women who want to enter the construction trades. Laura Bush is actively involved with Professional Women in Construction (PWC) New York City Chapter and the New York Building Congress (NYBC) and is a member of the board of directors for its charitable organization, the New York Building Foundation. Additionally, she serves on the board of directors for the Salvadori Center, an organization that provides STEAM education to students in underserved communities.

Bush earned her Bachelor of Science in construction management from Manchester University in England. While working on her first construction project in Manhattan, she met her husband, Andrew. They live in New Jersey with their daughters, Alexis and Liza.
