The Spencer Educational Foundation to Honor Alliant Insurance Services’ Lilian Vanvieldt-Gray at New York Gala

IRVINE, CA — The Spencer Educational Foundation will honor Lilian Vanvieldt-Gray, Executive Vice President and Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer, Alliant Insurance Services, at its annual Funding Their Future Gala. Vanvieldt-Gray will be recognized for her dedication and leadership in promoting diversity and shaping the future of the insurance industry through a range of DE&I programs and initiatives.

"This award serves as a testament to the hard work and dedication of Lilian and in championing diversity, equity, and inclusion and selflessly giving back to her community," said Tom Corbett, Executive Chairman, Alliant. “Through her leadership and service, Lilian is making a profound impact on our organization and our industry."

This highly anticipated event will take place in New York City on Thursday, September 12, 2024, and will bring together insurance leaders and industry supporters to recognize and celebrate excellence in risk management and insurance.

The Spencer Educational Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to fostering the education and professional development of risk management and insurance students. In 2023, the Spencer Educational Foundation awarded $1.6 million, providing 103 scholarships, 52 grants, and 32 internships. Since Spencer’s founding 44 years ago, the Foundation has provided over $9.5 million in scholarships and more than $8 million in grants that have directly impacted the availability of risk management and insurance education.
