Alliant recognized among the country’s top employers for diversity and inclusion

IRVINE, CA — Alliant Insurance Services has been named to Forbes’ prestigious list of America’s Best Employers for Diversity in 2022. Forbes and Statista, Inc. reviewed more than 10,000 organizations, and Alliant ranked among the top 500 companies for diversity and inclusion in the nation.

“Alliant takes a highly proactive approach to providing significant and sustainable career growth for employees of all cultures, backgrounds, and experiences,” said Tom Corbett, Chairman and CEO of Alliant. “We are honored to be among the country’s top employers for diversity and inclusion and continue to foster a productive and inclusive workplace for insurance professionals both now and in the future.”

Alliant’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team is currently engaged in a broad array of diversity-focused initiatives, including partnerships with likeminded organizations that are furthering development opportunities for underrepresented professionals, the launch of two new programs to broaden the access for racial/ethnic minority college students to the insurance industry, bolstering internal Employee Resource Groups, and proactively working to provide career growth and advancement opportunities for all employees.

“We believe that making a proactive investment in diversity, equity, and inclusion plays a direct role in our success as an organization,” said Lilian Vanvieldt, Executive Vice President and Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer with Alliant. “Cultivating a culture of inclusion and belonging is critical to the long-term growth and sustainability of Alliant and the insurance industry at large. We are stronger because we are diverse.”

Alliant was also recognized as one of America’s Best Employers by Forbes in March 2022.

Statista, Inc. surveyed 60,000 Americans working for organizations with at least 1,000 employees to determine the companies that are most dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The final list of Best Employers for Diversity includes the 500 organizations that received the most recommendations, had the most diverse boards and executive ranks, and the most proactive diversity and inclusion initiatives.
