Ohio-based benefits consultant to continue Alliant’s regional growth trajectory
IRVINE, CA — Tricia Schmidt has joined Alliant Insurance Services as Senior Vice President within its Employee Benefits Group. The addition of the Midwest employee benefits veteran continues Alliant’s regional growth trajectory with a focus on the Ohio market.

Schmidt has more than 25 years of insurance and employee benefits experience and is a leading consultant in the greater Ohio market. Her multifaceted approach to the benefits process includes plan optimization, large claimant cost containment strategies, and employee engagement.

Prior to joining Alliant, Schmidt was National Enterprise Sales Leader for a national healthcare advocacy firm. She also has prior experience as a Managing Director, Health & Benefits with an international insurance brokerage and consulting firm where she served as Midwest Region Leader following her role running the national middle market practice.
Schmidt earned her bachelor’s degree in theatre from Otterbein University. She is also a highly regarded speaker who has held national speaking engagements on topics such as private exchanges, international benefits, diversity and inclusion, captives, and wellness ROI.
