Healthcare innovator brings experience in alternative health plans, technology strategy, and population health solutions
IRVINE, CA — John Montague has joined Alliant Insurance Services as Vice President within its Employee Benefits Group. Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, he will partner with clients to design and develop innovative strategies that improve outcomes, enhance transparency, and support long-term organizational goals.

Montague has more than 30 years of industry experience spanning the provider, payer, and patient landscapes with a focus on the delivery of technology-enabled healthcare solutions that improve system performance and client outcomes. This includes the design and development of the first copay-only health plan featuring full cost transparency and value-based pricing. Montague also has extensive leadership experience in population health, software development, and systems integration, providing him with a comprehensive perspective on the evolving healthcare ecosystem.

Montague earned a bachelor’s degree in applied economics and political science from the University of Minnesota.
