IRVINE, CA — Willy Hammond has joined the Alliant Private Client division of Alliant Insurance Services as Vice President, Senior Loss Control Specialist. Hammond’s significant expertise in loss prevention will further support the largest, most complex personal insurance portfolios within the Private Client group. His addition will bolster a division that already leads the way in dedicated loss control, a critical component of today’s insurance market.
“Willy’s experience in both high-net-worth risk management and the construction industry is an unmatched advantage for both our group and our clients, especially given the importance of prevention and protection in today’s insurance landscape,” said Cindy Zobian, Executive Vice President, Managing Director, Alliant Private Client.
Hammond’s 30 years in the industry has left him not only with a particular expertise in underwriting, but also extensive experience in structural valuation, residential loss-control consultation, and replacement-cost evaluation for high-end homes and properties, domestic and international. Similarly, Hammond is adept at facilitating building inspections here and abroad.
“Willy brings not only global expertise, but also intimate knowledge of catastrophic-prone areas like the western United States, which is particularly vulnerable. As we continue to grow our dedicated loss control team, the combination of Willy and Ted Deveraux further enhances our commitment to providing loss control solutions to our most complex client accounts,” said Tyler Banks, Executive Vice President, Growth & Strategy at Alliant Private Client.
Previously, Hammond was a leader in account management for a global insurance organization. He was also the Building Official for Sun Valley, Idaho, a firefighter for the Sun Valley Fire Department, and Building Inspector for Blaine County in the state.
