Alliant Insurance Services Expands North Carolina Benefits Team with Addition of Will McMinn

McMinn to focus on health plan optimization and pharmacy cost management

IRVINE, CA — Continuing its investment in the Southeast, Alliant Insurance Services has appointed Will McMinn as Vice President within its Employee Benefits Group. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, McMinn will work closely with employers to shape health and pharmacy strategies that drive cost efficiency, manage exposure, and support long-term workforce stability.

With more than 20 years of experience in employee health and benefits consulting, McMinn focuses on optimizing health plans to achieve the lowest net cost while improving employee and dependent outcomes. With an extensive background in pharmacy benefit management (PBM) sales and consulting, McMinn partners with clients to design strategies that balance financial discipline with improved health outcomes.

Prior to joining Alliant, McMinn was a Partner and Employee Benefits Consultant with a national insurance brokerage and consulting firm. He earned his master’s degree in business administration from Point Park University and his bachelor’s degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College, where he was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame in 2025.
