Leading contract surety broker shows commitment and leadership in surety market with launch of national commercial surety operation

IRVINE, CA — Alliant Insurance Services today announces a national platform dedicated to serving clients in the commercial surety space. Alliant Commercial Surety will be led by Orlando Aguirre, Senior Vice President, Alliant Specialty. Based in Houston, Texas, Aguirre leads a team that specializes in developing surety programs that provide public and private sector clients with increased surety credit capacity, cost savings and creative liquidity solutions.

As the leading contract surety broker, the formation of Alliant Commercial Surety demonstrates Alliant’s commitment and market leadership in the surety space. Aguirre will build the national commercial surety platform and identify talent across the country to form an industry-leading operation.

Aguirre has extensive experience in the energy, healthcare and commercial surety industries. Prior to joining Alliant in 2021, Aguirre was responsible for all surety operations for Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma at a leading national brokerage. Throughout his career, Aguirre has worked with over 400 commercial surety clients. He plays an integral role in helping clients increase liquidity availability by developing innovative products to replace letters of credit.
