Alliant Insurance Services Strengthens New York Surety Team, Hires Lou Spina

Surety industry veteran brings 36 years’ experience to Alliant’s surety brokerage operation
IRVINE, CA — Alliant Insurance Services has hired Lou Spina as Senior Vice President, Alliant Specialty, bolstering the company’s New York-based surety team. The surety industry veteran brings more than 36 years of experience and will service Alliant’s surety clients along the East Coast.
With decades of experience both as a surety underwriter and in his current role as a broker, Spina is recognized for his ability to analyze financial data, help construction firms optimize operations, and minimize liability and exposure in an ever-changing construction environment.
“In his role with Alliant, Lou will focus his expertise to develop and implement surety solutions for Alliant clients along the East Coast and employ his extensive business development skills to grow and expand Alliant's reach throughout the region,” said Mike Cusack, Executive Vice President, Alliant Specialty.
Prior to Alliant, Spina was Senior Vice President of Northeast Surety Operations in the Long Island office of a national insurance brokerage and consulting firm.
