Longtime insurance association development executive joins Alliant amid nationwide acquisitions push
NEWPORT BEACH, CA — As Alliant continues its nationwide acquisitions campaign, the firm has hired Brittany Thune Lindberg as Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions. The longtime insurance association development executive will assist in directing Alliant’s acquisitions pipeline during a time of significant growth and expansion for the company. Thune Lindberg joins the Alliant M&A Development team, which is led by Stephen Farr and operates under the direction of Greg Zimmer, President of Alliant Insurance Services.
“Brittany’s prior industry experience as an advocate of the insurance community gives her a unique perspective and understanding of successful firms in our industry,” said Zimmer. “Alliant prides itself on being a selective acquirer. A critical component of our M&A strategy is attracting talent that fits within our producer-centric culture. I am convinced that Brittany’s contributions will play an instrumental role in Alliant's continued growth well into the future.”
Until 2021, Thune Lindberg served as Vice President for the Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers in Washington, DC, overseeing the development activities of the Council’s political action committee and foundation. She is also the Co-Founder and former Co-Chair of RightNOW Women PAC, a political action committee dedicated to motivating young professionals to support and help elect qualified women to federal office. She served in these capacities with the Council for eight and a half years. Most recently, Thune Lindberg served as Chief of Staff & Head of Client Engagement at a South Dakota-based wealth management firm.
Thune Lindberg’s arrival comes amid a significant acquisitions push for Alliant. In 2021, Alliant closed on acquisitions totaling almost $600 million in revenue with that momentum continuing into 2022.
Thune Lindberg holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Belmont University. In 2019, she was inducted into the Belmont Athletic Hall of Fame, where she was a four-time All-Conference performer and named Belmont’s Presidential Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
