NADCO Frequently Asked Questions
NADCO requires that you are a member in order to obtain the insurance. You do not have to be a member to apply; however, once you decide to accept the quote, your membership should be active to have the insurance.
The NADCO Policy will cover the named insured (whether an individual or company) and any past or present employee, director, partner or executive officer while acting within the scope of their duties on behalf of the named insured, and for whom the insured is legally responsible. Coverage for work subcontracted out to others is included for an additional premium. Directors, officers, committee members, employees, volunteers, and independent contractors are protected.
Complete a Certificate of Insurance Request form, which includes the Certificate Holder's information: company name, contact person, address, phone, and fax/email.

If you need to make changes such as updating your address, please email us at: nadco-questions@alliant.com.
Please include the company name, policy number and the effective date of change.
Note that changes such as an increase in policy limit are subject to underwriter approval, may take additional time to process and additional premium may be charged.
Directors and Officers (D&O) Liability Insurance protects corporate directors and officers against allegations that they performed their duties improperly. “Wrongful acts" might include actual or alleged errors, omissions, misleading statements, negligence, or breach of duty.
Yes, it is covered. Employment practices liability insurance (EPLI) protects against employee and volunteer lawsuits with claims such as wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment, breach of contract, and others.
Yes, the plan covers professional liability insurance. Commonly referred to as errors and omissions insurance (E&O Insurance), professional liability insurance protects against claims alleging errors, omissions, negligence, breach of duty, and other similar acts.
When you face a lawsuit, the costs can be staggering. Even if you are found not liable, the associated legal fees can pose a significant financial burden to your organization. Professional liability insurance provides vital financial support that will mitigate the financial burden of the legal process. Please note that this coverage will not diminish the likelihood of a potential lawsuit against your organization, but will ensure you are more prepared should one occur.
In addition, it’s important to note that having professional liability insurance does not make you any more likely to be sued than if you did not carry coverage. It simply makes you more prepared if a lawsuit is brought against you.
