YogaPro Insurance Overview

YogaPro combines professional liability insurance with general liability coverage to create a comprehensive program that addresses risks arising from instruction, injuries during classes and accidents at the studio.

  • Professional liability insurance: Covers claims related to your professional services, including yoga instruction and teacher training. Protection applies to allegations of negligence, errors, omissions or failure to perform services.

  • General liability: Covers claims involving bodily injury, property damage and personal and advertising injury.

We tailor coverage based on whether you teach yoga, operate a yoga studio, or both.

  • Teacher liability insurance: Applies to instructors who teach yoga at a studio, gym, park, community center or client’s home. Teacher liability insurance helps protect you from personal financial loss if a claim is made against you.

  • Studio liability insurance: Designed for yoga studios, yoga schools, home studios and small businesses. This policy covers up to two legal owners and claims arising from instruction, whether direct or indirect.

YogaPro provides tailored insurance solutions for yoga instructors teaching in a variety of settings, as well as yoga studios, schools, home studios and other small businesses. Coverage is designed to address the distinct liability risks associated with teaching classes and operating a yoga facility.

Yoga teachers typically need professional liability insurance to address claims related to alleged errors or omissions in instruction, along with general liability coverage for participant injuries and accidents at teaching locations. Instructor liability insurance is designed to protect against claims involving alleged errors or omissions in teaching, participant injuries and accidents occurring during classes or at the locations where instruction is provided. This helps yoga instructors cover financial losses, such as medical expenses and legal settlements, that may stem from incidents associated with teaching. Coverage may apply to yoga teachers working in studios, gyms, parks, community centers or clients’ homes, subject to the policy’s terms, conditions and exclusions.

Covered yoga teaching styles under yoga insurance policies typically include:
