Alliant highlights construction clients that are shaping communities across the U.S., enhancing infrastructure and inspiring sustainable growth

IRVINE, CA — During National Construction Appreciation Week, September 15-19, 2025, Alliant Insurance Services honors the men and women in construction who play a vital role in shaping communities and building across America.

Alliant is proud to work with the country’s leading property owners, developers and contractors, and celebrates the transformative work of its construction clients by highlighting projects that are improving communities, enhancing infrastructure and inspiring sustainable growth.

  • EnergyAid provides many projects pro-bono to ensure homeowners can benefit from solar power and reduce dependence on utility energy. The Solar Inverter Home Installation project restored functionality to a home’s solar system after a critical equipment failure forced the homeowner back onto costly utility power. With the original installer no longer available, EnergyAid procured and installed a compatible replacement inverter, reconfigured the system and established new monitoring capabilities, returning the home to energy independence and long-term reliability.

  • Frampton Construction is constructing the MUSC Health Bluffton Medical Pavilion, a three-story 54,000-square-foot building designed to expand access to specialized healthcare, serving several counties in South Carolina. The Pavilion consolidates multiple existing MUSC clinics into one central state-of-the-art facility while introducing new services such as oncology and infusion care, pediatric primary and urgent care, pulmonary and sleep medicine, vascular care and laboratory services. The modern patient-centered environment emphasizes comfort, accessibility and coordinated care, strengthening regional healthcare and positioning Bluffton as a hub for advanced care.

  • Kokolakis Contracting is constructing the Mary Cali Dalton Recreation Center in Staten Island, New York. The project is a pilot NYC Department of Design and Construction (DDC) design-build initiative that incorporates flood resilience, daylight harvesting, sustainable energy-efficient systems and a hardened lobby with flood gates designed to withstand 100-year base flood and storm surge elevations. With the building situated in the 8-foot flood zone of the New York Harbor, the recreation center serves as a model for resilient waterfront development in flood-prone urban areas.

  • Largo Concrete is building the Central & Adams Hotel to meet growing demand for accommodations in Phoenix’s downtown area. Designed to enhance local tourism and support business travel, the new hospitality development strengthens the city’s ability to attract visitors while creating a modern destination that contributes to the vibrancy of downtown. Largo Concrete utilized the PERI SKYFLEX formwork system, marking the first implementation of this innovative technology in the U.S. and demonstrating how technology can drive progress in hospitality construction projects.

  • Maryland Stadium Authority (MSA) has developed and managed the 21st Century School Buildings Program, a partnership between the MSA, Baltimore City Public Schools, the City of Baltimore and the Interagency Commission on Public School Construction (IAC). The program will deliver a total of 29 new or renovated school buildings in very congested, urban areas throughout Baltimore’s city limits by the end of 2026—transforming learning environments and educational experiences, increasing community usage and engagement, and growing local employment and small/minority business opportunities.

“We appreciate the opportunity to acknowledge the millions of men and women who contribute to the development of America’s infrastructure,” said Matt Walsh, Managing Director, Alliant Construction. “We are proud to highlight the innovative work of our clients as a reminder of the tremendous impact of the construction industry. We are also extremely proud of the critical work we do every day in insuring these projects with risk management strategies and solutions that help bring them to completion.”
