Alliant Insurance Services Launches Government Contractors Focused Segment; Hires Bryan Salek and Angela Kirby to Lead Specialized Practice

Government Contractors segment offers expertise in risk management and insurance to companies working with the U.S federal government, domestically and overseas
IRVINE, CA — Alliant Insurance Services has launched a Government Contractors focused segment within Alliant Specialty. The segment will be led by Bryan Salek and Angela Kirby, Senior Vice Presidents. The formation of the Government Contractors segment gives Alliant clients access to specialists across a national platform, unrestricted by size or geography, leveraging expertise in all facets of the business, including placement, service, claims and loss control.

Salek brings more than 25 years of experience specific to risk management and insurance programs for companies selling services or products to the U.S. federal government. He is responsible for delivering industry expertise across all areas of clients’ risk management programs. Salek specializes in helping clients understand and mitigate the unique systematic, financial, operational, regulatory and legal risks that impact companies operating in the government contractor, aerospace and defense industries.
Recognized for his expertise in this area, he routinely speaks at industry events on emerging risks and strategies to mitigate them. Salek holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Associate in Risk Management for Public Entities (ARM-P) designations.
Kirby brings more than a decade of experience to her role in designing insurance solutions and risk management programs for government contractors and marine clients. She is dedicated to delivering innovative and strategic solutions to solve complex challenges in the segment, by bringing a diverse perspective and leveraging her expertise to foster a culture of excellence and client-focused service.
Kirby utilizes claims, medical evacuation consultation, safety and loss analytics to successfully broker Defense Base Act, United States Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act (USL&H) and casualty solutions for clients.
