PRIMA 2026: Conference Recap and Highlights for Public Entity Professionals

The Public Risk Management Association (PRIMA) hosted their annual conference at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL, on June 7-10, 2026. PRIMA 2026 featured:
Over 1,200 attendees from public agencies and the professional firms who serve them.
Over 55 educational sessions, 75+ exhibitors and vendors, and numerous networking opportunities.
The Awards Luncheon, where chapters and individual risk management programs were recognized for innovative risk management solutions and leadership.
Several keynote sessions, including the Alliant-sponsored Keynote Lunch & Learn, where panelists addressed how artificial intelligence, emerging technologies and workforce trends are changing public sector risk management and organizational resilience.
As the largest national conference dedicated exclusively to public sector risk management professionals, attendees left with new insights and strategies to address emerging risks, strengthen organizational resilience and improve service delivery through effective risk management.
Key Messages and Themes from PRIMA 2026
