Alliant Insurance Services Announces Leadership Appointments in Property & Casualty Operation

Bob Bennetsen and John Harney assume key roles in advancing Alliant P&C growth and recruitment initiatives

IRVINE, CA — Alliant Insurance Services announces a series of strategic leadership appointments within its Property & Casualty (P&C) operation: Bob Bennetsen has been named Senior Managing Director, National Sales & Recruitment, and John Harney will serve as Head of Alliant Americas. Additionally, Michael Cusack was recently appointed as President, Alliant P&C.

Bennetsen will lead business development initiatives across Alliant P&C, enhancing data-driven capabilities for sustainable growth and ensuring nationwide alignment of specialized expertise and resources to maximize value to clients. He will also continue to spearhead recruitment efforts, focusing on attracting top-tier talent who embody Alliant’s entrepreneurial values. Bennetsen previously served as Head of Alliant Americas and as EVP, Managing Director, Employee Benefits, Northeast region.

Harney has extensive leadership experience and a strong track record of driving growth in the mid-market segment. Over the past nine years, he has led Alliant Americas in the Midwest, expanding client relationships and advancing regional performance. In his new role, Harney will oversee Alliant Americas nationwide, providing strategic direction and operational leadership.
